CDP Mission Statement

Citizens for District Power is a non- partisan affiliation of Sarasota County residents who support the following:

 

• County Commission accountability by reinforcing the 2018 voter mandate for Single-Member Districts.
   

• Local governance that serves the greater public interest over special interests.
   

• Growth and development in Sarasota County compatible with surrounding neighborhoods and natural assets.  
   

• A County Charter and Comprehensive Plan that enhance our quality of life.
