The deadline for county commission candidates
to submit petitions to the supervisor of elections for
verification is prior to noon on Monday, May 11,
2020. For county commission candidates who choose
to pay the qualifying fee, instead of qualifying by the
petition method, the requirements have not changed.
The qualifying dates for county candidates for the
2020 election cycle shall be from noon on Monday,
June 8 to noon on Friday, June 12.
Qualifying fees will not change, because they are
based on annual salary (6% for partisan candidates;
4% for NPA candidates) of the office.
